We’re in growth mode and looking to add a dynamic Sales Manager to our team in our Core Merchant Processing Business Unit. You will have significant interaction with the Core Merchant Processing team while reporting to the Senior Director of Sales.

The Sales Manager will be an instrumental in leading the outside sales team, account management group and inside sales department.  You will be the team leader helping our strategic sales executives identify and close large enterprise mid-market lending sales opportunities and assist the account management group with implementing and farming the accounts closed by strategic sales work with marketing to identify new prospects, schedule webinars and tradeshows as well as train the inside sales team to grow within the organization.

What you’ll do:

  • Master a complete technical understanding of PayNearMe’s current and upcoming products and services offerings
  • Mentor and coach sales executives, inside sales personnel and strategic account managers for PayNearMe’s cash and electronic payments suite of offers with particular focus on lending, collections and rent vertical markets
  • Develop the strategy for market penetration and build an organization to execute on it
  • Determine the types of additional roles necessary to quickly scale the business and hire against those openings
  • Travel to and attend relevant trade shows, events, and customer meetings
  • Leverage existing business relationships in the lending and collections space to accelerate revenue and time to market deployments
  • Enhance and operationalize an updated employment compensation plan for all assigned reports with particular focus on PayNearMe’s expanded offering of an electronic payments product suite
  • Develop and manage the strategy for expansion of the pipeline for quality business opportunities for the sales executive team
  • Provide regular management reporting on pipeline, revenue and MBO attainment for team members to Director of Sales
  • Responsible for Company’s information security by preserving confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Company’s information assets and customer data in accordance with Company’s Information Security Management System

Who we’re looking for:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate others
  • 10+ years work experience in sales management
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Bachelor of Science  or equivalent
  • Excellent communication (written, oral) and presentation skills
  • Experience in lending and collections markets. Payments experience preferred.
  • CRM experience, preferably Salesforce
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated and driven, able to manage multiple priorities at any given time
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Experience with MS office and data analytics for tracking account performance and growth

Location:  Flexible/Remote

Travel:  50% Anticipated

The Company collects identifiers and professional or employment-related information, which may include some or all the following: real name, nickname or alias, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address, membership in professional organizations, professional certifications, language skills, and current and past employment history. The Company collects this Personal Information to evaluate previous job performance and consider applicants for positions, to develop a talent pool and plan for succession, to conduct applicant surveys, to maintain an internal applicant directory and for purposes of identification, to promote the Company as a place to work, and for workforce reporting and data analytics/trend analysis.
  2. Personal Information Categories from Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e). The Company may collect categories of Personal Information listed in Cal. Civ. The Company collects this Personal Information for purposes including: to comply with Federal and California law related to accommodation.   4. Education Information. The Company collects education information such as resumes and graduation records. The Company collects this Personal Information to determine suitability for roles, to determine eligibility for training courses, and to assist with professional licensing.
  5. Profile Data. The Company may collect profile data, including the following: psychological assessments, behavior analyses, or other profiling of its applicants. The Company collects this Personal Information to determine aptitude for certain positions and job assignments as well.
  6. Background Screening Information. In the event that an applicant is given a formal job offer, the Company collects background screening information prior to hiring, including results of the following types of background screening: criminal history; sex offender registration; motor vehicle records; credit history; employment history; drug testing; and educational history. The Company collects this Personal Information to screen for risks to the Company and its clients, and continued suitability for their jobs and to evaluate applicants for promotions.
