Bill Campbell, the Silicon Valley legend, was a part of PayNearMe from our earliest days, serving as the de facto chairman of our board. Even when we were only three people, Bill ensured that we planned and built for scale – whether we were talking about products, processes, or, most importantly, our people and organization. Without Bill, it’s hard to imagine that our company would exist. We owe him a huge debt, which we’ll continue to repay in the only currency he would accept: making sure that we do right by our employees, customers, and partners, and passing on the values we’ve learned from him to the next generation.
