Refund Policy

You, the customer, are entitled to a refund of the money to be sent, if PayNearMe MT, Inc. either does not send it or does not give instructions committing an equivalent amount of money to the business designated by you within ten days of the date of payment by you AND you have not already received the benefit of such payment from the business. Any refund request after PayNearMe MT, Inc. has sent your payment must be directed to such business.

ALASKA

REFUND POLICY: Within 10 days after receiving a written request for a refund, a money transmission licensee shall refund to a customer money equal to the money or equivalent value received from the customer for a money transmission, unless

  • (1) before receiving the written request
    • (A) the money has been transmitted to the person designated by the customer to receive the money transmission and the person has taken possession of the money; in this section, “transmitted” means made available to the person designated by the customer to receive the money, whether or not the person designated by the customer has taken possession of the money; or
    • (B) instructions have been given making a monetary equivalent available to the person designated by the customer to receive the money transmission;
  • (2) the money transmission licensee has reason to believe that a crime has occurred, is occurring, or may occur as a result of transmitting or refunding the money as requested by the customer; or
  • (3) the money transmission licensee is otherwise prohibited by law from making a refund.

CALIFORNIA

RIGHT TO REFUND: You, the customer, are entitled to a refund of the money to be transmitted as the result of this agreement if PayNearMe MT, Inc. does not forward the money received from you within 10 days of the date of its receipt, or does not give instructions committing an equivalent amount of money to the person designated by you within ten days of the date of the receipt of the funds from you unless otherwise instructed by you.

If your instructions as to when the moneys shall be forwarded or transmitted are not complied with and the money has not yet been forwarded or transmitted you have a right to a refund of your money.

If you want a refund, you must mail or deliver your written request to PayNearMe MT, Inc. at 5201 Great America Parkway, Suite 320, Santa Clara, CA 95054. If you do not receive your refund, you may be entitled to your money back plus a penalty of up to $1,000 and attorney’s fees pursuant to Section 2102 of the California Financial Code.

Any refund request after you have received the benefit of such payment or after PayNearMe MT, Inc. has sent your payment must be directed to such business. Please note: refunds cannot be made at the location where you made your payment.

PayNearMe MT, Inc. is liable for non-delivery or delayed delivery of money to be sent.

WASHINGTON

REFUND POLICY: You, the customer, are entitled to a refund of the money to be sent unless you have not already received the benefit of such payment from the business or PayNearMe MT, Inc. either has already sent the money, has given instructions committing an equivalent amount of money to the business designated by you within ten days of the date of payment by you, has reason to believe that delivering or refunding the money is connected to a past, current, or potential crime OR PayNearMe MT, Inc. is barred by law from making a refund. Any refund request after PayNearMe MT, Inc. has sent your payment must be directed to such business.

We will refund you for the full amount of your payment within 10 days of receiving your written request unless we are otherwise unable to refund the money by law or as described above.
