Ria makes it easy to send money to friends and family around the globe. Now, PayNearMe is working with Ria to make it easy to do so with cash.

To pay for an international money transfer using cash, customers initiate the transfer through Ria’s mobile app or Ria’s website and choose the Cash Powered by PayNearMe option.

The customer receives a payment code on their mobile device, visits one of 5,500 participating 7-Eleven stores in the U.S. and presents the code to the cashier. After the customer pays for the transfer using cash, a receipt is provided as proof of payment. Users can even pay for a snack or gas in the same transaction!

People around the world have trusted Ria to move money overseas efficiently and securely for over 30 years. PayNearMe, a brand of Handle Financial, has been enabling government agencies and businesses to accept cash payments remotely through thousands of locations nationwide since 2009. Together, this partnership finally gives consumers who don’t have a bank account or credit card–or those who simply prefer to pay with cash–an easy, secure way to send money to loved ones abroad.
